Current Use
Current use is the means for encouraging the preservation of open space and conserving the land, water, forest, agricultural, and wildlife resources. Property owners with 10 or more acres of land in one lot or in contiguous lots, which are left in their natural state may apply.
Any property owner applying for a current use assessment under the provisions of RSA 79-A, shall complete the A-10 form listed below and submit it to the Assessing Department on or before April 15th of the tax year in which they are requesting that the land be assessed and enrolled in current use.
