Parks and Trails Expansion

Bristol is expanding its outdoor opportunities with the construction of new parks and trails along the Pemigewasset River, from the junction of the Newfound river at the South-east end of the town to the junction of the Smith River, 3 miles south of Bristol. These trails will be linked to the existing pedestrian and bicycle path that follows the Newfound River from downtown to the southern end of Newfound Lake. The southern end of Newfound Lake connects to New Hampshire Bike Path 404 completely circumnavigating the entire lake.

The first segment of the trail has been completed! The new Bristol Falls Park is open and the news media is raving about what has been done to expand opportunities of recreation in Bristol.
