Wade Brown SEA engineering made a presentation about the plans to date and answered questions from the 2 boards.
Bob Barry talked of the current time frame for state funds for this project and they would be available in July 2007.
It was discussed that a final cost would not be ready for the March 2007 Town Meetings but, a reasonable estimate could be provided for the Towns to vote on. The final design will not be finished until April of 2007 because of the time needed to get the necessary permits in place. RA asked the history of SEA in its bidding and would the numbers hold based on the estimate, Wade Brown indicated that the estimates usually hold. Bob Barry suggested that the contingency funds be increased because of the rapid rates in current costs.
Paul Tierney mad a motion to accept the contract amendment presented by SEA Engineering seconded by PF. Motion carried 6 aye o nay.
The special meeting was adjourned at 6:40 pm
Respectfully submitted,
Bob Veloski
