The Land Use Enforcement Officer performs a broad range of work relative to enforcement of the Bristol Zoning Ordinance, Site Plan Review
Regulations, and Subdivision Regulations, as well as enforcement of other codes and ordinances adopted by the Town. The Land Use
Enforcement officer: investigates complaints about potential land use violations; interprets and explains regulations, requirements and processes
to the public; coordinates with the Fire Department on review of plans and specifications to determine if they comply with Town ordinances,
codes, and regulations; and provides input in the development of land use rules, procedures and policies. This position also functions as the
Town’s Health Officer.
