Mission Statement of the Bristol Fire Department

The Bristol Fire Department endeavors to provide professional fire protection, rescue  and advanced emergency

medical services to the town of Bristol.  These services are delivered by a dedicated team of professional career,

on-call and part time personnel committed to providing quality emergency service.  The primary objective of the

Bristol Fire Department is to maintain a constant state of readiness in order to meet our responsibilities and to

respond to all hazards which may arise at anytime.  It is the responsibility of the department to ensure the protection

of life and property within the jurisdiction and to protect the health and safety of all department employees. We strive

to provide these services in a coordinated approach and by utilizing the available resources to support the mission

and achieve the stated goals.
