Email received from NH Division of Economic Development
Dear NH Business,
I'm writing to you this morning to learn whether your business has
been adversely affected by the recent flooding, and, if so,
determine how we can help.
The New Hampshire Division of Economic Development, in coordination
with local economic development organizations, is currently seeking
to determine the number of companies which have been affected as
well as the extent of the damage.
Over the past few days, the economic development team has been
speaking with city and town officials as well as its resource
partners to determine the magnitude of the problem as well as to
develop an action plan to aid all businesses requiring assistance.
However, there is still much work to be done and the key to a
successful response can be summed up in one word - communication.
To that end, I am asking you to let the Division of Economic
Development know if your business has been affected or if you know
of other businesses in the area which can use help. In both cases,
please call the Division's toll-free hotline at 1-800-417-4110 or
send them an email at lsherman@dred.state.nh.us.
Thanks in advance for your assistance and your willingness to pass
on the information that will help the Division of Economic
Development to better serve the New Hampshire business community in
the days and weeks ahead.
All homeowners with questions about damages to their residence are
asked to call the Office of Emergency Management's hotline at
1-800-458-2407.
