The Land Use Enforcement Officer performs a broad range of work relative to enforcement of the Bristol Zoning Ordinance, Site Plan Review Regulations, and Subdivision Regulations, as well as enforcement of other codes and ordinances adopted by the Town. The Land Use Enforcement officer: investigates complaints about potential land use violations; interprets and explains regulations, requirements and processes to the public; coordinates with the Fire Department on review of plans and specifications to determine if they comply with Town ordinances, codes, and regulations; and provides input in the development of land use rules, procedures and policies.

LAND USE PERMITS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:

Applicants are required to obtain all departmental / agency sign offs, as provided within the Land Use Application, BEFORE submission for approval. If the project is exempt from a departmental / agency approval, please indicate, in writing, the reason in the comment section for that department / agency.
